ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE
I haven't seen many theatre shows but I am a musician and know a good show when I see one. To call this show amazing still feels like an understanding. I was blown away. There was never an unpolished moment. Every song was impactful and flawless and the story and production was 10/10 as well. 10's all around. Bravo.
Shelley Sims from Oxford,
DREAM GIRLS
Absolutely brilliant, I have never been to a show with so much talent. All the cast voices were outstanding and the dancers choreography was great too. If in any doubt about going to see it, get a ticket, you won’t be disappointed.

What a great show!!! Abs fab x
Mrs T from Glasgow,
PERFECTION
The show itself was amazing can't fault it and would definitely go back to see it again However the staff at the King's theatre asked a guy in the row in front of us to stop singing along which we found to be shocking as he was only singing quietly along, my daughter was sat 2 rows in front and didn't even hear him plus most of the theatre were singing along at some points Then the guy was taken outside to speak to the manager who then said this production had asked for no singing along This put a complete damper on our night for sure
Ali from Glasgow,
AMAZING!
Great show, amazing cast, costumes and set! Natalie who plays Effie is just mind blowing, her voice is EPIC! Goosebumps! Well worth the extortionate drink prices! 🙄

A MUSICAL SPECTACULAR!
This is the first live musical that I’ve seen in 44 years and wow, I was blown away by the talent, the performances, the energy, the SOUL!! If this doesn’t fill you with absolute joy, you haven’t got a pulse! Nicole Dennis, you were epic, thank you and your fellow cast members for making this a Christmas Eve to remember!!

DREAM GIRLS EXPERIENCE
This was the first time we had left a musical at the interval as the level of singing was way too loud. So much so that it interfered with my friend's hearing aids. This was a real shame as the performances from all cast members were excellent as was the staging. A case of less is more I think
Pier from Edinburgh,
EDINBURGH SHOW WAS AVERAGE
Dreamgirls it is an outstanding play with wonderful music. The Edinburgh cast performance seemed flat if compared to legends like the kinds of Jeniffer Holiday, J. Hudson, etc. The cast did their best but overall the show lacked of the soul and depth that you would expect from this love and friendship story. If the original cast (1980s) were to be a double espresso, this one seemed to me like a watered down single shot Americano. On positive note, the orchestra performed exceptionally well. Overall it was entertaining, only if you get the cheapest tickets. Not worth the premium price.

THE GIRL WHO PLAYED EFFIE SAVED THE SHOW
Went tonight Wednesday 4th Jan with my daughter.. honestly so excited to see the show.. we are regulars at the Empire and we always get tickets in the stalls.. excited for the singing and omg tonight was such a disappointment The girl who played Effie (who got a well deserved standing ovation) and Jimmy were the only two who were totally in tune and not shouting The girl who played Dina was so out of tune, shouting and really needs to watch the performance back..spoilt it for us as our favourite songs were .. well let’s just say I had to cover my ears it was that bad!!! The other two dream girls were ok but the dancing looked like they were just going through the moves Some harmonies were ok but it wasn’t consistent.. it was oh this is good then Cringe!! Male dancers were superb Sadly if you want a headache then you will defo get one from parts of this show.. As it’s a show that is all about the music this really needs honest feedback to the cast
Margaret from Edinburgh,
DREAM GIRLS
We have never left a musical at half time but could not stand the volume of the music. Singers were good but far too loud
Derek Hawes from Edinburgh,
NOT GOOD
This was far to loud no story could not understand even the speech never mind the songs. Left at half time.No song Or tune I could remember.
Linda Madden from Edinburgh,
DREAMGIRLS
Was the worst show I’ve ever seen singing and acting was awful we left at the interval and so did loads of others
Jochar from Manchester,
SHOUTING IS NOT SINGING
We went expecting a great show but we're left disappointed. We were in the minority as many in the audience gave a standing ovation. Every song was unnecessary loud, even the dialogue was shouted. I've read that the score is supposed to be good yet not one memorable song. Les Mis has a class score this doesn't. For me this was the worst musical I have seen, perhaps just not my cup of tea. If I sang my conversation with my wife that loud she tell me to shut.
from Liverpool,
DREAMGIRLS
What a shame! Was expecting a good musical singalong story. What we got was awful story hard to follow, shouting not singing, awful dancing, unheard songs, comedy attempts poor. Lady who played lead was the only reason we stayed until interval, then left along with a lot of others. Waste of money, very disappointed even stage scenes were poor! Save your money……

glittering MUSICAL Magic
a masterclass in the biographical musical, a glittering and breathless adventure that keeps you hanging on until the very last second
I'm happy to report that Dreamgirls, the much anticipated London premiere of Henry Krieger & Tom Eyen's 1981 musical does not just follow that trend but ups the ante to stratospheric heights. It is a masterclass in the biographical musical, a glittering
