Focusing on a Burnley self-made millionaire who fought against big banks to create something that helped his community, Bank of Dave is a funny and moving testament to ingenuity and standing up for what's right.

What Is The Story?

Dave Fishwick had officially made it. His business of mini buses had made him a millionaire. But in the 2008 financial crisis, he saw the impacts of his community who weren't as fortunate - unable to secure loans from any of the big banks. Desperate to help out his friends and neighbours, Dave decided to do something unprecedented, and set out to create an independent bank of his own that would help out the people who needed it. But Dave will soon discover that taking on giants is no mean feat. Can he fight for fairness?

Opening Night

From being very sceptical of how the show would pan out as a musical show. From the start until the end, I have never laughed so much. The energy, enthusiasm and commitment, by the cast is incredible. With it being a true to life story, it touches on all of your emotions. 10/10 from me A must see more than once, because you laugh that much, you fail to take in all of the gags. ... Read more
